At the April 1 Board meeting, state Reps. Annie Graham and Steve Moriarty present legislative sentiments to the Indoor Track team (above) & Nordic Ski team (below) for state championship wins during the winter athletic season.

On March 14, the IB Diploma Students and the Community Services Club hosted an Oxfam Hunger Banquet.

Congratulations to Elliot Alfred, GHS student, who received a Gold Key Scholastic Award for his comic. His work will be displayed in the capital complex through May as his work also received an 'Excellence in Arts Education' award through the Maine Arts Commission.

Author Holly Thompson, a native Mainer, lived in Japan for 25 years and wrote "The Wakame Gatherers". She met with all 2nd graders at the GCA to talk about her book.
